Camden Baker
(Class of ‘26)
Camden Baker is a junior that has been part of Ovation since his freshman year.
Since his freshman year, he has performed in Love and Information, Matilda, Hairspray, and the UIL One Act Play Advance Man. He also helped out as part of costume crew for Big Fish . Additionally, he is part of Ovation’s Improvaganza and had the opportunity to preform in the Theatre Productions’ class play of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
As an Ovation officer, he wants to help everyone have opportunities to further hone their skills. Ovation is a home and he hopes to welcome and accept everyone into that home just as he was.
Jadyn Burrows
(Class of ‘25)
Jadyn Burrows is a senior that has been an Ovation member since her sophomore year.
During her time here, she has been able to perform in musicals such as Big Fish, Matilda, and Hairspray. She has also been able to act in many plays such as Love and Information, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Secret in The Wings, and Advance Man. She has loved the opportunities she has been given and is very excited to see what her senior year has in store.
As a returning Ovation Officer, Jadyn hopes to help create a welcoming and safe environment for everyone.
Channing Grace
(Class of ‘25)
Channing Grace is going to be a senior this year and is thrilled for his fourth and final season with Ovation.
He’s been part of several Ovation shows such as Love & Information and Big Fish. In addition to acting, he likes to dabble in several technical departments and is a set build aficionado.
As an Officer, he wants to foster an environment that believes in working hard and reaching for the stars.
Hannah Lundberg
(Class of ‘27)
Hannah Lundberg is a sophomore who has been a member of Ovation since her freshman year.
She has enjoyed all 3 shows she has participated in as well as finding her love for Improv by being a part of Ovation’s Improvaganza. She has been a part of spotlight for Big Fish, ensemble for Hairspray, and a fairy in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She is excited to improve as a performer through her next 3 years in Ovation.
As an Ovation Officer, she hopes to empower her peers through leading them to discover their passions in Ovation along with creating a loving and supportive environment.
Maddie Parker
(Class of ‘25)
Maddie Parker is a senior that has been a member of Ovation since her freshman year.
Throughout her time in Ovation, she has worked as a technician on costume crew in musicals like The Sound of Music, Matilda, Big Fish, and Hairspray, as well as the UIL One Act Play Advance Man. She has loved every moment in Ovation and can’t wait for the next year to come.
As an Ovation officer, she hopes to create an inclusive and encouraging environment that allows students to explore their passion for theatre arts.
Amber Schaefer
(Class of ‘25)
Amber is a senior that has been a member of Ovation since her freshman year.
During her time in Ovation, she has been part of Chicago, The Sound of Music, Love and Information, Matilda, Big Fish, and Hairspray. She has also been able to participate in award-winning UIL One Act Play shows including My Friend the Octopus, The Secret in the Wings, and Advance Man. She also participates in other extracurricular activities like All State Choir and the Houston Grand Opera’s High School Voice Studio Program. She can’t wait to see what’s in store for her senior year!
As a returning Ovation Officer, she hopes to continue to help provide a safe environment within Ovation and inspire her fellow cast and crew mates to pursue their passions.
Mallory Thornton
(Class of ‘26)
Mallory Thornton is going to be a junior this year and couldn’t be more excited to continue her journey in Ovation.
She’s been a part of six ovation shows. She has portrayed her acting abilities in Matilda, Big Fish, Hairspray, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In addition to acting, she has also participated in the technical side of theater in UIL One Act Play in shows such as Advance Man and The Secret in the Wings.
As an Officer, she is excited to help improve the community around her and provide a safe and fun place for all! .
