WEDNESDAY

BLOCK 1 (5PM-6PM)

DEVISING THEATRE

INSTRUCTOR: Kaitlyn Huston (Theatre Teacher)

DESCRIPTION: Are you interested in improv? Would you like to work in a non-traditional, collaborative theatrical setting? Come learn all about devising theatre, and participate in some funky and fun activities that help you follow your creative impulses!

PROPS-PALOOZA!!!

INSTRUCTOR: Hannah Lundberg (Ovation Officer)

DESCRIPTION: You will learn the importance of props in a scene as well as how to construct your own!! Be ready for contests and prizes!!!

ACTING THROUGH SONG

DESCRIPTION: Learn how to express your emotions when singing a musical song! Bring sheet music if you’d like to practice a number!


BLOCK 2 (6PM-7PM)

GETTING INTO CHARACTER USING IMPROV!

DESCRIPTION: Use improv games to develop your character! Play different stock characters, create scenes with friends, and learn learn learn!!!

DESCRIPTION: Been to a set build before? Want to have a little fun with some woodworking? Join Mr. C and Channing in building some work tables and learn how to read plans, use the table saw and other tools

DESCRIPTION: In this class students will learn how to take a character and make it larger than life. They will explore the differences between large and small characters and learn the secrets to creating physical choices that flow.
